Sophie’s background also includes working for consulting organizations in providing strategic human resources solutions such as career transition and retention services. Sophie worked with clients at the senior executive, management, and professional levels. Her approach has focused on developing personal career plans to assist individuals in positioning themselves strategically to achieve their professional goals.
Sophie was the Vice President of Human Resources for a global provider of Internet-based logistics solutions. Her mandate was to build a service-oriented international HR department from ground-up, integrated as a key part of the business. Her corporate HR experience also includes working for organizations and being involved in merger and acquisition activities, and implementation of large outsourcing initiatives, where she was mandated to integrate significant numbers of employees at national and international levels.
Sophie completed a bachelor’s degree specializing in psychology at Concordia University in Montreal, Qc. She also completed a graduate certificate in Executive Coaching with Royal Roads University in Victoria, BC. She is certified to administer the Myers Briggs Type Indicator.
Sophie is a member of the International Coach Federation and the Association for Career Professionals International. She is also fluently bilingual in English and French.
